The kitchen.
Two-tone cabinetry — painted uppers over a warm oak island — with veined stone counters carried up the wall as a full backsplash. Undermount sink, a Kohler faucet in polished nickel, and champagne bronze pulls where your hand actually lands.
The baths.
Marble-look porcelain in large format underfoot, a white oak vanity under quartz, and a freestanding soaking tub where the plan allows. Guest baths take their own turn — a dark blue herringbone surround in one, a penny-round shower floor in another.
The living spaces.
White-oak floors throughout, nine-foot ceilings on the main level, and windows on two sides of most rooms — several opening to a private porch or balcony.
